  ATTENTION...ATTENTION...ATTENTION...EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2012,
TEENS MAY BEGIN DRIVER ED AND OBTAIN A PERMIT at age 15!!

Also: Effective July 1, 2012, a new law took effect which requires that everyone pass a written test to obtain a permit. It is our recommendation that your child complete the first week of class (the curriculum during this week is the BMV manual) and upon passing the quiz the first Friday of the session, they should be ready for the written test. For students taking the classes online, it is our recommendation that the course is completed before taking the written test at the BMV. Once they pass the written test and obtain the permit, they will not be required to take another written test to become licensed.

Are you too busy to commit to the traditional classroom delivery method for driver ed?  If so, online may be the way to go!!  What more could you ask for...you work at your own pace and when finished, you still have the benefit of one-on-one behind the wheel instruction and scheduling drives according to your schedule!  Call the location closest to you for more information. Fishers, Zionsville and Lebanon.

Dear Parent and Future Driver:

A + Driving Academy is a state-of-the-art driver education facility which offers an Indiana State Certified Driver Education Program. We now have 3 locations: Fishers, Zionsville and Lebanon.

To give you a short background of our company, A + Driving Academy is owned and operated by a mom with three grown sons. She was concerned with the driver's education that her children received and wanted to do something to improve the quality of driver's education in the area. After extensive investigation, she decided that she could raise the bar and provide a quality program for teens. The instructors are hand-picked with years of combined experience. Robin has chosen instructors who are serious about improving driver's education and who are in it for the best interest of the teens. It is her personal mission to give your child the best driver's education possible. She welcomes parents to audit any class, visit the school, or talk to other families who have taken the course. There is an open door policy and we welcome all!

Robin is extremely proud of the program and it is her mission to provide the best driver's education program possible to all students.

The program consists of thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction and six (6) one (1) hour drive times of on-the-road instruction. These are mandated by the State of Indiana and each student needs to complete both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction with an 80 percent to pass the course. Drive times are scheduled separate from class time and are private instruction.

Click it or Ticket
The most successful seat belt enforcement campaign ever, "Click It or Ticket" has helped to create the highest national seat belt usage rate in history, currently at 91.2 percent. In 2008, Indiana's overall observed seat belt usage rate climbed to a record high, evidence that heightened awareness combined with sustained law enforcement efforts are helping to save the lives of Hoosier motorists.
